R E V I E W   P O L I C Y

If I am unable to accept your request on account of severe time constraints or other factors such as the book falling under a genre I do not read, I will reach out to you and respectfully decline (apologies in advance).

For authors and publishers: When reaching out, please be sure to include the book summary and Goodreads link. Additionally, please include at least 3 trigger warnings (if any).

M Y  R E V I E W S

My reviews are always my honest opinion on the book and will include references to other books because that’s the only way I know how to communicate. 


1. Make sure the book falls under my preferred genres otherwise it is less likely that I will accept your request!

2. I have the right to decline any request that I don’t find fitting. It’s not you, it’s me. 

​

All reviews will be posted on Goodreads and storygraph, in addition to JMRH but if you have a specific website you would like the review to be posted on, please make sure you specify it in your request.

G E N R E S

The genres I generally tend to reach out for are fantasy, horror and mystery. Genres I occasionally read include historical, crime, literary fiction and YA romance/contemporary. 

​

Genres I do not read are new adult/adult romance, erotica, nonfiction, self-help, Christian fiction, dystopian and [this is not really a genre but it is very important to include] anything having to do with vampires.
