A new academic year, and the only thing I look forward to is reading these books in class.
1. The Hawthorne Legacy by Jennifer Lynn Barnes (sep 7th)
I'm dying. I need answers right now. Can this book come out any sooner?
2. Act Cool by Tobly McSmith (sep 7th)
THE PREMISE SOUNDS SOO GOOD.
3. White Smoke by Tiffany D. Jackson (sep 14th)
The cover looks smokin' and I am 100% here for it.
4. Defy the Night by Brigid Kemmerer (sep 14th)
I've heard mixed opinions about this one (mostly about there being a love triangle?) and can't wait to see which side I'll be on!
5. Not Here to Be Liked by Michelle Quach (sep 14th)
Someone said this was an enemies to lovers and therefore I must read it.
6. The Bronzed Beasts by Roshani Chokshi (sep 21st)
Bestie you can't end a book like that and expect me not to eagerly wait for the conclusion.
7. All These Bodies by Kendare Blake (sep 21st)
Looks scary. I like the vibe already.
8. Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao (sep 21st)
Any fantasy inspired by Asian mythology gets a bonus.
9. Vespertine by Margaret Rogerson (sep 28th)
I loved her standalones and wanted more. My prayers have been answered.
10. Before We Disappear by Shaun David Hutchinson (sep 28th)
The dudes on the cover give me very much Wesper vibes and I love Wesper.
11. Dark Rise by C.S. Pacat (sep 28th)
Whoever designed that cover deserves a promotion.
12. Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber (sep 30th)
One of my all-time favourite authors decided to write a trilogy set in the same world as Caraval?
*Furiously clicking on bookstore website*
13. Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco (oct 5th)
Can we all just collectively admit that we're reading this for daddy Wrath?
14. The City Beautiful by Aden Polydoros (oct 5th)
Looks dark and I think I already like it.
15. Girls of Fate and Fury by Natasha Ngan (nov 2nd)
You witnessed me breakdown at the end of the previous two books and guess what's coming up? 🥰
16. The Reckless Kind by Carly Heath (nov 2nd)
Something tells me I will not stop talking about this book.
17. You've Reached Sam by Dustin Thao (nov 9th)
I witnessed many people ugly cry at the end and therefore I'm very excited for this book!
18. Skin of the Sea by Natasha Bowen (nov 9th)
Again, the cover artist deserves a promotion.
19. The Nobleman's Guide to Scandal and Shipwrecks by Mackenzi Lee (nov 16th)
You don't understand, I love these siblings.
